Blesta Migrator

Blesta does not have a way to migrate packages and services to a different module. So you will need to use our migrator if you were originally using the universal module.

⚠️

This feature modifies the database directly. Please make sure you have a backup of your Blesta installation and database before continuing.

Installation

If you haven't already, install the module using the instructions here.

Setup Migrator plugin

Login to Blesta's admin panel
Go to Settings > Plugins > Available
Find the XenReseller Migrator module and click Install
The XenReseller Migrator plugin should now be accessible from the Tools menu

Prepare for Migration

Before you migrate your packages/services you need to make sure the following has been completed:

Universal module has been installed and configured (default module)
Universal module has servers added
XenReseller module has been installed and configured
XenReseller module has servers added

💡

To allow for a smooth migration, we recommend you copy all servers and server groups (with servers in them) from the Universal module to the XenReseller module.

💡

Make sure the server hostnames from the universal module matches those in XenReseller, otherwise migration cannot occur.

Migration

To migrate to the XenReseller module, you will need to first migrate packages then existing services.

Go to Tools > XenReseller Migrator
If the requirements are not met, you will need to fix this

Click Migrate Packages
Read and follow the information on the page

Migrating Services

Click Migrate Services
Read and follow the information on the page

All done!

You have now successfully migrated to the XenReseller module. 🎉
